Georgian Era Arm Chair Reproduction
This ornately carved dining chair possesses a throne like quality. The original chair appears to have come from either English or Irish origin and probably dates from the late 18th or early 19th Century. This is truly a sculptural work of art. From the ball and claw feet and the heavily carved legs to the flowing apron , the carving detail is exquisite. An Acanthus leaf crest appears above a sculptured knot splat back and this detailed piece is completed with two serpent motif arms. Our client supplied the original chair which allowed us to create this very authentic reproduction.
